Often times in life we face challenges that lead us to seek out additional support. It takes courage to reach out for help whether for ourselves or our children. I am here to guide you through these challenges using a nonjudgmental strength-based approach. Together we will work to identify current strategies as well as explore new strategies that may assist with increasing your self-awareness and overall wellness.

 

I specialize in the treatment of individuals with complex and acute trauma histories utilizing EMDR therapy (https://www.emdria.org/about-emdr-therapy/). I also specialize in the treatment of children utilizing play therapy, therapeutic games, and art. I specialize in working with children and adults with childhood physical, emotional, and sexual abuse, relationship trauma, and mood and anxiety disorders.

 

My approach to therapy is, strength-based, and interpersonal; working with you to help identify goals and grow. I am trained in EMDR and utilize somatic and mindfulness techniques, cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, and behavioral approaches.
