Experience
Thirty
years as a public school educator have provided me with extensive experience
in working with adolescents, adults and families. The past sixteen years I
have served as a guidance counselor at Plainwell High School, where I
chaired both my department and the crisis team. The majority of my teaching
career was spent working with at-risk youths in alternative education and my
early counseling experience was with teens and their families at The Ark, a
crisis intervention center and runaway shelter in Kalamazoo.
